SecretMsg is strictly restricted to individuals aged 13 or older (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information or permit accounts for children under 13. If we discover an account registered by an underage minor, the account and all associated inbox data are permanently deleted immediately.

Parents are encouraged to speak openly with their teens about online communication boundaries:
- Remind your teen never to share their home address, school name, phone number, or geolocation in public prompts.
- Encourage them to report or delete uncomfortable messages immediately using the in-app controls.
- Teens have 1-tap self-service power to wipe their entire inbox or delete their account permanently at any moment.
